Separate boys and girls hostels are available within the Institute campus. The hostels are well furnished and looked after by wardens under the control of the Hostel Commitee and the Principal.

All hostel accommodation is available on sharing-basis, i.e 2 or 3 students per room.

Boys Hostel
Total capacity is of 132 seats on sharing basis.
For Ist Year B.Sc H&HA,hostel accommodation of 120 seats is available on JEE Merit basis.

Girls Hostel
Girl students admitted to the Institute will be provided accommodation in the girls hostel.
Total capacity is of 70 seats on sharing basis.

Note:
1. Hostel fee is to be paid in one instalment at the time of admission for the full session and will be accepted in the form of a Demand Draft in the the name of the Principal, IHM Shimla,  payable at Shimla.

2. In the First Year B.Sc. H&HA, if any student leaves the Hostel within 30 days from the date of admission, 50% Hostel fee would be refunded.

3. No fee, except hostel security, will be refunded if admission is withdrawn after 30 days from the date of admission on any grounds.
